Meet The Doctors

Dr. Joseph Meeting, DC, ART, DNS

Dr. Joseph Meeting, DC, graduated from National University of Health Sciences with his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree and from Ohio University with his Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science and Sport Physiology. After receiving his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), he worked as a personal trainer while performing his undergraduate and graduate studies. Personal training and a rugby injury in college led to his pursuit of becoming a Chiropractor. He no longer plays rugby, but has taken up Brazilian jiu jitsu as his preferred way to workout. Now a brown belt (he's been training since 2010) Dr. Meeting has used bjj as a way to stay healthy. The dynamic sport requires strength and flexibility, and having one without the other will ultimately lead to dysfunction and injury. Ask him on your visit how he does this!

Dr. Meeting also believes in a whole body, functional approach to treatment. He is a certified Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) Exercise Trainer and is full body certified (Upper, Lower, Spine, Active Palpation with SFMA, Master's, Long Tract Nerve Entrapments, Complex Protocols with multiple re-certifications) in Active Release Technique (ART), a premiere soft tissue therapy used by people throughout the world, including many professional athletes. He has also received significant training in acupuncture, and more recently Dry Needling, as well as Lower Body Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR).
